I wanted to love this barrel, but...

I hate to write bad reviews, but I feel that the 5-star rating is misleading from my experience with this barrel. I ordered this barrel and it looked great, felt great, and grabbed the attention of everyone who saw it.

Now the bad part: It jammed every time I went shooting, every time... Long story short, I replaced everything else, but nothing worked except replacing the barrel. I then sent my barrel in for a replacement but the exact same problem occurred with the replacement barrel, the EXACT SAME PROBLEM! After taking it to my friend who is an expert gunsmith, he took pictures of the chamber and noted that Bear Creek Arsenal must have a bad machine bit that created the chamber, because it left a small marring that would firmly grab the bullet casing whenever the barrel cooled after firing a few rounds, therefore causing a guaranteed jam. I returned mine for a full refund...

tl;dr - I wanted to love this barrel, but the quality control of Bear Creek Arsenal just isn't acceptable.

Nice barrel. I matched it with a Guntec 15" honeycomb handguard. Got it on sale at $79.99 awhile back. Waiting for another sale like that to order another. Primary Arms is my first choice for products.

This barrel is good looking and accurate. A few hundred rounds through it and not a single issue. 1 MOA @ 300 yards. A bit of machining dust out of the packaging. Initial cleaning is a bit of work because of all the fluting. Only negative thing about this barrel is that it gets qiute a bit of attention at the range.
