Bear Creek Arsenal M16 Cut 7.62x39mm Complete Bolt Carrier Group - Black Nitride
Ratings & Reviews
Fantastic BCG that headspaces perfect and runs well
by Deadhorse -
Great BCG, headspaced perfectly to the BCA 7.62x39 barrel, runs like a champ, hasnt missed a beat yet, easy to clean with just a warm wet rag, carrier was machined very well, it did have some tooling marks but only on places that are non bearing surfaces, all bearing surfaces are machined very well, firing pin is the "enhanced firing pin" which is slightly longer for those stubborn hard primers found in cheap steel cased ammo, gas key was staked "OK" but I think it could of been staked slightly better but that is a easy fix to do yourself. But overall for the money you cant beat this BCG this runs and works better then the No Fail 7.62x39 BCG that I paid $129 for.
Good finish, another great bca product

Works great. It ate up steel cased tula like nothing without changing firing pin. Maybe bca fixed that prob in the newer bcg's.

Good bcg, bear creek always suprises me. I never had any issues with their products. Everything looked and ran good. Gave it 4 starts instead of 5 since i feel like all manufacturers that make a 7.62x39 bcg should just put a enhanced firing pin in it from the get go, failzero does and aim surplus does too. It just makes sense since the ammo thats going to be used is inferior imported ammo.

This BCG runs flawlessly. No issues shooting Tula steel case. MPI inspected, properly staked, upgraded ejector spring.Super value!
Nothing fancy, but it works great.

Based on numerous other reviews, I went ahead and changed out the firing pin for an enhanced one prior to first use. The "trial run" consisted of 60 rounds of various steel cased ammo. Some polymer coated and some lacquer coated. There were no failures to fire and everything cycled perfectly fine. The machining appears to be quite smooth and the coating is consistent. I used a BCA barrel as well and the combination managed 1 MOA with Monarch ammo @ 40 yards (iron sights). Pleased with the product at the sale price. I probably wouldn't have paid full price unless it came with the enhanced firing pin. Let's face it, most of us shooting x39 are shooting cheap steel case ammo... I don't know why they wouldn't include a better pin for the application from the factory.
i like it. not horrible for the price, needs a new firing pin

Bought on sale. feel like it is worth it for that price. had no function issues with federal ammo. finish is better than any palmetto bcg I have ever bought. comes with standard firing pin, which bear creek says it does on their site. I was not surprised I had issues with cheaper ammo. had 50percent light strikes on the cheap boxer primed ammo, will be changing out firing pin then this bcg will be a winner. Glad to see the 762 39 ARs catching on and parts becoming more available. I just bought another one of these, at this price I can afford a spare.
More than you pay for

Very surprised how good the finish was on this BCG for $54.99. I would recommend this to anyone building a 7.63x39 AR.
THIS BCG IS Amazing!!

Shot 1000+ rounds with 0 FTF, 0 FTE, 2 Stuck rounds..
This BCG is phenomenal considering that all the 1000 rounds I shot where Tulammo steel..
I continue to shoot with no problems whatsoever!!!
***you got to oil your BCG and BCG housing, and clean your BCG and its housing immediately after shooting at the range ESPECIALLY DURING RIFLE BREAK IN TIME, WHY? Because the BCG housing area will smoothen out so will the BCG itself mold itself to the head space of your barrel..
*** You got to have great MAGS though... C-Products are the best, no FT FEED, no FT EXTRACT (I have 3 they all work flawlessly as they are designed around the round 7.62x39 in the AR15 platform..
*** ASC Mags are a just a hit and MISS, my two stuck rounds happened when I was using the ASC magazine that I bought...

I kept having failure to extract with my mil spec BCG but when I slapped this one in the problem stopped.

Bought for a build last week when it was on sale. It has a nice black slick finish. Took it apart and oiled it before taking to the range. Took 100 rounds to start breaking in. Had 60 rounds in brass case and 40 rounds of steel case. All brass rounds cycled and fired without any problems. Loaded 20 rounds of steel case. Only about half of the steel case fired. The rounds that didn't fire had very deep dimples where the firing pin hit. I want to mark this up to cheap rounds. Will be trying other ammo from different manufacturers to see if I have the same results. Very satisfied so far.
very nice slick BCG!

very nice for the price BCG with angle cut carrier, MPI bolt and some kind of slick black finish.
staking light but OK enough. tight fitting pins, o-ring and insert in extractor spring. strong ejector spring --rest of it looks OEM/GI .
if the finish don't come off and nothing breaks it ill be five stars for the $$$ --can't give it 5 yet as i haven't taken it to the range just yet.
i'm pretty sure its gonna be a good runner-- feels very slick even dry.
i wish they made these with the .136 grendel bolts
bought on 5pm friday and in my hand 10:30 AM monday --how that for speedy shipping??
yea i'm a happy camper!!
