Note: Dust covers are no longer included with PMAGs.
The PMAG 30 AR 300 B GEN M3 is a dedicated magazine for rifles chambered in 300 Blackout. While standard AR-15 magazines may be used for this cartridge, the potential danger exists to chamber and fire a 300 Blackout round in a 5.56 NATO chamber with catastrophic results. Optimized for 300 AAC Blackout, the PMAG 30 AR 300 B retains all the GEN M3 features adding a distinct rib design and smoother upper texture to set them apart from other PMAGs for quick visual and tactile identification. This AR mag is easy to disassemble and clean for regular maintenance and won't fail you in the field.
Features:
- Dedicated 300 Blackout magazine
- Impact and crush resistant polymer construction
- Optimized internal geometry for 300 BLK

If I can rate more stars I would.

Don't even bother modifying a normal pmag, these are worth the price for its specific caliber. Looks and feels different. If you're OCD like I am you'll end up getting these just because they say 300 blackout.
Great product...now I just wish they would make a 20rd version.

Had feeding issue with an AR of mine using 220gr Subsonic loads. Using Lancer and standard 5.56 Magpul mags I could only load about 3 in the mag, any more and I would have feeding issues. I tried one of these mags out of curiosity...compared to a standard 5.56 Pmag there doesn't appear to be much difference...a small follower change that to the eye did not appear to change the bullets' orientation. Well, I loaded up more than 10 in the magazine and tried it...seems to work perfectly now. Maybe the small changes Magpul made did the trick.

Great Magazines

Never really had a lot of problems with 223 mags. Some small problems like feeding to mag capacity. I like the ease of loading and unloading. Magpul does it again, too bad they don’t make 7.62. I am sure they would work as well as RZE and be lighter on the wallet...
good mags

I was using standard 55.6/223 AR mags in my 300 BLKOUT but recently switched out my mags to these 300 Blackout mags. I still use the standard AR mags in my 55.6/223, but I now only use the 300 mags in my BLKOUT. And it does make a difference.
It’s a PMag. It works.

A must-have for long, round-nose, subsonic projectiles (like the Noveske/Nosler 220 grain offerings) that can cause binding in standard GI/PMags. Works perfectly. Tactile distinction from standard PMags an added bonus.
Easy to tell the difference.

Another great magazine by Magpul. The only difference between this magazine and the standard P mag is the texture on the outside. It was added to be able to tell the difference between a magazine loaded with 5.56/.223 and one loaded with 300 blackout. are used to put green electrical tape around the magazines loaded with 300 blackout. I no longer have to do that.
