Details

Fortis wanted to design a handguard that was easy to install, but also able to mount with a full 360 degrees of contact with the barrel nut. The new patent pending, two-piece barrel nut is one of a kind. Fortis developed it from the ground up and the machining time it takes to make the barrel nut, rivals the time making the actual rail. What they ended up with is a rail that not only looks amazing, but is still true to our lightweight brand. The barrel nut/mounting system keeps the rail performing even during the harshest of conditions.

Great look and feel. Love the fitment. Nice and super slim. Best looking rail on the market. Would recommend 100%

Terrible design

I bought this for a second build with this rail. Well I noticed how loose this rail is from the upper. On a 16 in barrel the rail will just wabble pretty bad. Didn't realize it on first build, went back and looked, and for sure a wobbly rail. It's crazy considering the cost. Will be going back to STNGR. I like a solid rail.
You end up having a gap at barrel not a good 1/8 inch. And with this gap is where it apparently allows it to wobble. Totally bummed out, got 500 in paper weights. I installed exactly as instructed.
Saw another review explaining the same situation, and he nailed it. Bad design flaw.
