Details

The Aim Sports AK-47 KeyMod Handguard is a lightweight, two piece handguard designed for Russian-pattern AK-type rifles. Mounts securely with a unique barrel and receiver clamp system with relief cut for compatibility with grenade sights. Machined from durable 6061-T6 aluminum with an abrasion resistant hardcoat anodized finish for durability, it also features nine rows of KeyMod accessory slots to mount any of your favorite accessories!

Medium model extends beyond standard AK handguard length.

Installs easily without a gun smith, but may require minor fitting. Not compatible with Yugo pattern rifles.

Bought it for a WASR-10.
The front belt attachment sticks up too much so the top half of the receiver cannot sit flush with the bottom part. In order to remedy this problem the barrel clamp provided with the handguard needs to be inverted 180 degrees so the top would be on the bottom. Not a big issue at all.
One of the 6 bolts which joins the top and bottom part of the handguard together is stripped. This is what bothers me the most.
Easy to install.
Not a Primary Arms issue, maybe quality control at Aim Sports.

So far so good. Pretty good for the money. Fit and finish is adequate. Works well with a PSA gen 3

Solid and slim

I do like it thus far but will in no way fit or be modified to fit my russian made ak (type 1 vepr) . So instead it does now work beautifully on my wasr 10/63. Sling mount still accessible, bayonet still mountable, and with a slightly forward light mount, the front post shadow is no more. Would recommend, also tried it on a psa ak and it fit just as well.
