Meh.
by Kyle
It's ok, the trap door rattles but nothing a little gorilla tape on the door edges didn't fix to tighten the seal. The main problem I have with this is I'm pretty sure the one I got was used. It had some grubby oil finger prints on it, it was scratched, and it was obvious the screws had been threaded before. Not full deal breakers I was going to wipe it down with CLP anyway and it will get scratched eventually. Just when you pay for something new it should be new.
Good Butt Stock!
by David
This was my first A2 Butt Stock and it was used on an 18" rifle length build. I've used quite a few Anderson products and I've never been sorry. Same with this stock. It mounted perfectly to an Anderson lower and performed flawlessly at the range. Would buy again.
Cheap knock off, shame on Anderson.

Not milspec by any stretch, nor is it black. It is grey and it is porous, with oil stains around the sling loop. the tube is cheap and poorly machined. The trapddoor is plastic not metal. I own several A2 rifles and have handled dozens in the military and this stock is nothing more than a cheap chinese knockoff that should not have milspec anywhere in the name. If it sold for $25 and was not advertised as milspec, I wouldnt be so critical. I will be returning it.
One of the Best A2 Stocks Available

Awesome Stock!
Just as described, perfect fit, easy installation.
The grey stock turned black with a single application of CLP.
I think this stock is a better choice then the UTG hard plastic one from Taiwan.
If they're in stock you better grab one because these always sell out fast. The retro look is coming back and these fit the purpose.

I was a little put off by the gray color of the stock, but as another commentor pointed out - a quick rub down with CLP corrected that easily. Insulation was a breeze. Perhaps not the best quality stock I have ever seen, but it will do the job.
A2 stock color
by Chris
If my research is correct, the milspec color is gray-ish, with a bit of a textured surface. Seems like lots of folks rub in CLP to darken them, which is fine, but I think the gray is actually correct.
