Quality lower overall. However, Anderson decided in their infinite wisdom that the grip screw hole should not go all the way through. This means that the grip screws in nearly all mil spec LPKs will not work. Of course the Anderson LPK has a shorter grip screw that works. Or you're going to have to go to the hardware store to grab one. Or tap it all the way through. If you can not use all of the parts that come with a mil spec LPK then you don't get to call yourself mil spec. Other than that the lower is quality and build went together well.

Just as good as any other lower, all parts fit just like they should. No sanding, no modifications. I used a Freedom lower kit and it couldn't fit any tighter or better. Fit the upper tight, not loose at all. Will buy again for the next AR I build. I saw a complaint about the finish, I like it. Only complaint is I had to wait for them to be back in stock!

Found access sand from the casting that had been covered with paint/powder and was keeping the bolt catch from functioning. Cleaned the sand out and worked perfectly.

Great prices on the sale items! 39.99! Unfortunately the lower has a blemish in the coating. Called and asked about it and was told it was 1st quality. Well was still a good price so not extremely disappointed but still disappointed. Guess i'll duracoat or ceracote, just more $ i'll have to spend somewhere else.

Decent lower, but the mag well is too tight to allow Magpul PMags to drop freely when the magazine release is pressed. It works fine with GI surplus magazines, but PMags are a no-go.

These lowers are on par with spikes, psa, cmmg and other mil spec lowers. Logo is not overbearing and other markings are normal. I purchased several and all where excellent. Primary Arms LLC is second to none in customer service and they hold the products which they carry and market to the same standards. I did not purchse this item through PA, but picked one up from my local shop. Very clean machining, finish seems durable, logo is pretty minimalistic which I like. CMMG LPK went in perfectly and functions well. Wish it said, "multi cal" rather than 5.56/ .223, but for the price paid it's not much of an issue for me. Recommended.

Took a chance on this low price lower, and it paid off. Fit and finish were great. Couldn't tell the difference this one and one of the higher priced ones. It did have a little excess paint/ coating in a few of the pin holes, but it came right off. This is a great lower, without a high price.

This is the 5th Anderson lower I've built. Very sturdy paring with BCM and DPMS uppers. I've have not put them through a lot of stress tests, i.e., thousands of rounds, tossing them to a rocky ravine, etc. But hopefully they will hold up through many visits to the range and competition shooting.

Had to brush out a few rough edges from the forging process, but after that everything went together nice and tight. My only gripe is that the pivot pin was really tight (had to take a hammer to it). This may have been due to the pivot pin being the incorrect size though (I don't have another to test against) so I'm not going to knock it too hard.

It was all pretty good but the screw hole for the grip was not tapped deep enough for the screw that came with kit I ordered. I had to use two lock washers for the grip to snug up tight to the lower and was still bit loose.

Excellent price and extremely prompt service. Primary Arms has never let me down. Andersen's quality control may be slightly lacking however, there was a rock? Or something rock like lodged in a cavity of the lower receiver I purchased. It was easy to spot so not sure how it left the mfg. in such a state. I dislodged it at the dealers shop where I completed the registration. No major issues.

Apparently, USPS 3 day priority mail mean 3 days in transit, 3 days held up is Spanish Fork, UT and 3 day in the Beaver, UT post office before the FFL was notified. I plan to do future business with Primary Arms, but will only request UPS or FedEx for shipping.

Over the years I built a LOT of AR and variants in several calibers. By far the best "bang" for the buck comes from Anderson. From the getgo a better fit Upper to Lower and dimensional correct. Nice finish and they use 7075 Cerro Forge forgings. A rock solid no frills Lower at competitive pricing.

A 7075-T6 mil spec forged lower is just the ticket for that shooter that just wants to use his MSR for fun and now worry if it gets scratched. I have had no issues with mine and the Anderson logo looks good IMHO. I would recommend this lower for the new and experienced AR builder.

bought it as a build lower, didn't wanna screw up a nice expensive one. Pros: Even coating, everything is in spec, decent roll mark, and looks pretty good. Cons:Mag catch and pivot pin holes are real tight, which may or may not be the lowers fault, rather the PSA LPK that i had on hand.

This is a very nice item at a great price ($39.99 on sale). I received it in 4 days so shipping is very fast. I paired this with the Anderson upper, and both items are identical in it's black matte finish. The fit is very close between the upper and lower, and all pins, springs, and parts fit well, not too lose and not to tight. I recommend this product if you want a a good priced, well made lower.
