The XPS2 Holographic Weapon Sight is a lightweight, non-magnifying, optical sight designed for close to mid-range engagements. It allows very fast target acquisition and engagement at short ranges while providing aiming capability out to 300 meters equal to or better than iron sights.
The XPS2 is the shortest, smallest and lightest EOTECH model holographic weapon sight available without night vision. Its size and weight make it convenient for hunters and law enforcement officers to carry. The compact, single-lithium-battery configuration leaves more rail space than ever for rear iron sights or magnifiers.
The 1 MOA red dot is ideal for fast target acquisition.

EOTech XPS2-1 w/ 3X magnifier

The unit is light weight and was easy to co-witness with the 3X Magnifier. The red dot was easy to sight in at 100 yards. Can't understand why I did not buy a red dot sooner.

Beyond Disappointed

I purchased this holographic sight because I have an astigmatism. I have friends with both an EOtech XPS2-0 and the Vortex Huey gen 2 so, I know what a holographic sight should look like and I love it. I chose the single dot model because I was tired of the glare/flare that I would get from traditional red dots and I wanted that clean circular dot that I saw with my friend’s holo sights. The glare/flare from this was far worse than any red dot I’ve ever seen. Like, shockingly bad and to top it off, at higher brightness levels there’s a faint red box that appears around the dot. I was so excited to actually own an EOtech after years of wanting one, I finally pulled the trigger and it’s been the most disappointing firearms accessory purchase I’ve ever made.
