Centering support fins along the mag square it off when inserted into the magwell, preventing it from rattling in place.
Flush with magazine body, the floorplate is quickly removed by pushing out the locking tab making disassembly a breeze.

The Hera's are excellent magazines. I grabbed a couple 10's, and a couple 20's and they worked fine loaded up, or partially. Very close fit in my AR's and Mossberg MPV.
Not to be to "artsy", but the OD Green and Tan matches my Magpul furniture perfectly. Surprise, they also work with my Magpul dust covers ;-)

I thought I would give these Hera 10 round Magazines a try. I was a bit concerned as I did some research and it seems many people have had problems with them but I can tell you I was out at the range this weekend and I didn't have one problem with them. They worked perfectly for me, in 2 or 3 different AR's I had with me. Grab a few, P.A. had them on sale recently.
Buy a different 10 round mag.

Best I can give this mag is a 3. I like the color and it will work with 300 blackout. Disadvantages are factory 77 grain match 223 will not fit and load, I had to reduce capacity to 9 rounds for mag to work in three separate lowers, and spring is way stiffer than mft/Troy/Magpul.

I handload most of my ammo. I make my 53grain varmint hunting loads at 2.260” and they will not fit in this magazine. I thought I’d try them out when they were on sale because I use the small 10 round mags for hiking and hunting with a sling. P mags and Mission First Tactical work great for this purpose and both brands show function and durability. I think Hera has achieved the low price by using a cheaper and more brittle polymer. In order to help with the durability this polymer has to be thicker, which is why 2.260” ammo doesn’t function in this mag. I have 55grain FMJ loaded at 2.230” COL and they fit, but the spring is super stiff and hard To load ten full rounds. Also fit and finish is not so hot. They have sharp edges around the feed lips. They also have a silly designed floor plate system.
These mags are TRASH!!

Update: These things are GARBAGE: AVOID!! I threw both of them out the window...complete turds.

Received in a couple days,and put a few hundred rounds thru them all ready with no flaws..was a good buy from Primary again.
