Details

The Krebs Custom Mk VI Enhanced Safety is one of the best enhancements you can make to your AK pattern rifle. Stamped from 1mm 1050 steel and heat treated to a solid 50C Rockwell, these safeties feature both a cut to lock the bolt open and and extended rest for fast and easy trigger finger manipulations. The Mk VI will fit most standard pattern stamped receiver AK rifles, but may require minor fitting.

Won't fit a FM Ak 47-11 Vepr. Seems like good quality though.

Best AK safety on the market. Tab allows you to manipulate the safety without coming off the grip. Must have upgrade for the AK platform.

Poor quality materials and design

Material is much flimsier than the factory selector. The curved tab at the bottom is painful to push up from below, and easy to slip off of when pushing down from above. Would much prefer a flat surface. General shape of the selector doesn't fit into stamped Arsenal SLR.

On the plus side, the bolt hold open works well.

Fits PSA AKs perfectly

This fits PSAK47 and AKV perfectly. The AKV comes with a modified version, but this is much easier to manipulate with the trigger finger without coming off target. Great AK solution.

Quick and easy install

Installed in less than 2 mins and fits perfectly. Snaps into place and easy to manipulate. 10/10 would recommend.

Glad I bought one.

My shooting range makes exceptions for AK's not holding back the bolt carrier during cease fire but I like bolts held back when I want them held back. I just installed this today and it works like a charm. It was a snap to install and functions as expected. Good tension for switching from safe to fire as well, not to hard nor easy. It's deliberate in it's switching function which is what I want from a safety/fire lever.

Unfortunately it won’t work on PSAK GF5 with ALG trigger.
Works just fine on my GF3 though. Seems like good quality
