Needs some improvement.

All in all this is a good stock. The fit and finish is good and the many adjustments are great.
But, the rear shoulder pads is horrible. After 200 rounds the pad started to hurt my shoulder. The pad is a series of slots with little tabs at each end that I'm guessing are designed to keep the stock in place on the shoulder when firing, and it does work for that purpose
But for comfort? I give this a 1 star. I will be looking for a replacement for the but pad today.
Excellent stock

This is an excellent stock at a great price. Lots of adjustability to ensure you are in the exact same spot on the rifle every time. I purchased it for my bolt action gun with a Knoxx Axion stock on it - UNFORTUNATELY it does not fit the Axiom stock - it is not mil-spec. I have it on my AR - so still happy.....
Very nice adjustable stock and keep your carbine buffer tube

Put this on my 16" AR to replace the basic carbine stock. Works great. Adjustments are solid and get my cheek weld where I want it every time. Butt pad is not soft but its a .223 AR - what recoil? Its no harder than a standard carbine stock that has no rubber at the back. Would happily buy again.
Good build quality

Received item today. Ordered on a Friday. Was well packed and arrived faster than planned. The item itself is good build quality and adjusts simply and effectively. Looking forward to taking it out on the range after the first of the year.
my "go to" stock for my builds
by michael
I used to use another highly regarded name brand.
Switched to Luth and I now have their stocks on 7 of my builds.
I put them on rifles I built for my son and my grand kids...this is now my go to stock on my builds.
Doesnt have listed QD feature.
by Brice -
Part of why I bought this stock was the listed QD sling attackment post. Mine doesnt have that feature, which totally stinks. Fortunately, I had an extra end plate with a QD point, so I was able to complete my new 6.5 creedmoor build.
installing luth-ar-mba-3 on savage 10 ba stealth stock commercial tube
by daniel
I just bought a luth-ar-mba-3 for my savage 10 ba stealth. it would not fit on my savage buffer tube. So i took a 6in. drill bit super glue double sided tape 120 grit sandpaper and a drill.Take and attach the sandpaper to the drill bit using the double sided tape the luth-ar-mba-3 has 6 ribs on the inside of the butt stock using the drill and bit sand the ribs down, check often so you do not over sand. takes approx. 10 mins.
