Great forend for Mossy 500/590/590A1

Just got this, went out the same day as the order and got to me within 3 days. I actually have a Mossberg 500 but the 500 and 590 have a few interchangable parts such as stocks and most forends. I really like this Magpul forend. It has 2 anti rotational tabs, one for a 500 and 590, and one for a 590A1. It also comes with a thick plastic forend wrench to remove the forend castle nut. I've read reviews on others with a lot of slop but these fit just like a manufacturer's forend. The only thing you have to make absolutely sure of is your slide action tube size, if you don't want to buy a new one anyways. This will fit a 500, 590, and a 590A1 as it is a 7- 5/8" or a 7- 3/4". If it is less then 7 inches, you'll need to find a short forend or buy a new action tube assembly. Anyways thanks Primary Arms for the awesome service. Great product. Don't second guess it.

I struggled for a while to find an effective way to mount a light to my Mossberg 500. I wasn't satisfied with most of the solutions out there. The forends with integrated lights are extremely pricey (and ugly). I initially though that this forend looked kind of big and boxy, but I held one in a store and it totally changed my mind- it's not big or boxy and this thing has great ergonomics and feels extremely sturdy. It has MLOK mounting points that I used to mount my light and it works great- no bulky picatinny rails hanging off every side like on other forends. It comes with two "anti-rotational" pieces that keep the forend from wobbling too much, so it feels quite stable and sturdy. Pricier than some other options, but quite reasonable and you're getting battle-proven MAGPUL quality.
