At the heart of the 4-14x44mm rifle scope is the first focal plane MIL-DOT reticle. For $229.99 the Primary Arms 4-14X44 Mil Mil FFP Scope is absolutely the best scope value anywhere. Decent glass, decent eye relief, FIRST FOCAL PLANE!, an adjustable side-focus parallax all the way down to 10 yards, and no-cap turrets is what I'd expect to pay $500 to $600 for at this level, maybe more.Combine that scope with PA's awesome customer service department and you truly cannot go wrong.VINNIEps - If you mount this on an AR, be sure to order the Primary Arms Deluxe Extended AR15 Scope Mount - 30mm. This will allow you to get the scope cantilevered way forward, so you'll have plenty of proper head-forward cheek placement (nose to charging handle). Then, if you ever do need to move it, just loosen the base mount screws, move, and re-tighten. No need to ever have to re-mount the scope in the rings again. Plus, when bought together, I think PA will knock $10 off the price of the mount, making the mount only $49.99
