Solid Scope, Excellent Value
by AR Hound
I put one of these on my 223 AR last year, and I like it so much that I put a 2nd one on my 308 bolt gun.
The scope controls operate smoothly, the windage and elevation turrets are solid, and I can actually see the cross hairs move in the FOV when adjusting them. The locking feature is nice.
The side focus/parallax is very touchy, especially at higher magnification, but it brings the sight picture in to focus nicely.
The illuminated reticle is nice for low light conditions, and takes a standard 2032 coin battery.
I'm very impressed with the quality and price of Primary Arms.
BUDGET MEDIUM RANGE OPTIC
by Ryan Rauch
I got this scope as an interim optic for my savage 10fp after trading off the vortex viper that it wore previously. It has been 100% functional for me. The glass isn't perfect but it has gotten me to 1000 yards and back. This is by no means a top tier competitor but for $160 there is not another scope I would even consider. The only thing I had a problem with was when dialing to 1000 yards the first time (~36 moa under 100 yard zero) the elevation turret started coming up tight at one spot then was fine after pushing past it. Overall, for the price I am 100% satisfied with the purchase of this scope and I would not hesitate to buy another in the future.
Best 160$ scope made
by Jim Clarke
OK. My other budget scope is a 459$ dollar SWFA SS 10X42. Comparing g the 2 would be moot but as a budget comparison dollar for dollar this scope is exceptional. Glass is good and it tracks well. And has held zero for 427 Rds. I haven't used a scope this well at this price point and it out performs some more expensive. Pleasantly surprised. Ordered another one. This one's on a 30.06. not a recoil friendly gun and it's on point.
Worth the money
So far so good. Haven't had the chance to shoot it or zero it in yet. Out of the box it feel very sturdy and robust. Materials feel and look nice as well. The glass looks clear with illumination on or off. The eye relief isn't too bad a few inches.
I bought this scope a couple years ago after reading a "sniper thread" online, several people had used one. Mounted it on a .17 WSM and i love it. Tracks perfectly, and returns to zero as if i never changed the turrets. Glass is clear for a scope in the $160 price range...I've killed over 65 groundhogs and one coyote with this scope on this gun, from 5 yards to 308 yards and the majority around 200 yards. I gave it 4 stars because its not perfect, after looking through the scope for hours, i can see the imperfections on the inside of the tube..that's being picky but i'm a perfectionist. I love this scope
Really all this for 160 bucks?
I am really impressed! I bought this as a fill in for a new long range rifle in 6.5 creedmore. I planned on using this as a scope until I can save up the money for one that is higher dollar. Why the hell would I do that? This thing is great easy easy zero great tracking and looks like it is made really well. High end features like the side focus/parallax adjustment and the illuminated mil-dot is crisp and clear. The glass is really clear as well. I'm going to use that other money for Ammo! Buy it you won't be disappointed.
A couple of recommendations
I've reviewed this model before so I won't go into it again. But 3 things I would like to see offered on this scope. 1) non illuminated reticle (hardly ever use it. (2. Built in power ring throw lever. (3. Included sun shade.(even if price jumps a bit)
This scope just plain works.
I own 3 PA scopes 2 4-16x44 and the new 22 scope with ACSS. Great scopes for the money. Never hesitate to recommend them to people.
Generic instructions were completely useless. Scope was delIvered with both adjusting turrets inoperable.
The Best PA scope almost
I love this scope. I have it mounted on a Springfield M1A NM with a Basset mount and Warne rings. The tracking works the side focus is pretty much dead on it handles the recoil of the .308/7.62 (which isn't much since it's a semi auto piston system) the reticle is thin and the locking/zeroing turrets are great. I do have a couple dislikes. 1. I wish it was Mil/Mil and 2. I have no use for the illuminated reticle and would like it removed to cut down on weight/obtrusiveness. I guess the illuminator dial acts as a storage compartment for a CR2032 battery but that's about it. I also like the fact that this scope is 16X vs all the other 14X scope PA makes. PA please make a 4-16X Mil/Mil scope without the illumination. I even like some of your new reticles although I feel that the standard USMC mil-dot reticle is good enough. Thanks
Great scope on my custom mosin
Great scope on my custom mosin shooting at 600yards. Here's the video of it https://youtu.be/YlePM3PDEvo?t=123
PA 4-16X44 Illum. Ret.
When I received the scope I took it to Cabellas to compare with several higher end scopes. It compared very well and even more so for the price. Installed on a savage 270 for my grandson. He loved the Illum. Very pleased after one range visit and 35 rounds. His only problem was with the thin crosshairs but the illum. helped with that.

nice scope for the price
by Paul Caudill
So far I'm really happy with this scope. It's not the clearest one I've owned, but for the price I'm not sure your gonna get much better
Great scope for the price. Zeroed easily and has held zero. Liked it so much I bought a second one. Both scopes are on accurized Mosin Nagants.
So Far So Good...
Glass is clear, turrets "click solid" and lock well. Very happy with the product and the price.
4-16X44 on Remington 700 .308
by Kyle Johnson
Glass is very clear. Turrets are easy to adjust. Quality is as good as my prostaff.
Surprising budget scope
Great overall. Ourstanding quality. Surprising performance for a budget scope. Mounted on a rem 700 tactical aac-sd.-SP
Arrived in a timely manner, well packaged. Optics are clear, illumination works well. Turrets easily adjustable. The flip up covers that came with the scope are a bit chintzy. This scope is quite the value for the price.
Hard to beat.
Another great optic from PA. It's not a night force, but just as clear and solid as any $400-500 scope i've used. Cheers

Weary of the quality of this scope, I went ahead and purchased it. Upon initial inspection scope looks solid and finish is on par. I installed it on my AR and headed to the range. The scope was quick to zero, adjustment were easy and the audible click was very noticeable, held zero after several rounds. All in all I'm happy with my purchase and would not hesitate to buy again. Thanks Marshall for a great product and customer service.
Good scope, clear lenses, appears to hold zero, and you can't beat the price!
Great value, but what zoom power are the mil dots calibrated for? I have heard 10x, 14x, and 16x, but am not sure which one
havent shot with it yet but it looks amazing, will post feedback after use. shipping was rediculous!
