PA MD-20 RED DOT

I bought two of these when they were on sale. The LED emitter was overly exposed. Lots of red splatter in both units in daytime brightness outside. I had to return both units. No I don't have astigmatism. I do have a lot of red dots, various makers, that don't have the same problem I had with the MD 20 units.

I installed my Primary Arms Red Dot, SLX MD-20 on my Ultimak M1-B Scout KR-103 Picatinny Style Rail, I installed the rail yesterday, easy installation on my Kalashnikov KR-103 SFS Rifle. Took it to the outdoor range today to sight it in. After sighting it in, I continued shooting 210 rds. of Barnaul HP.
Things go hot, things got really hot, shooting at a 5" target at 25 yrds all
30 rds. staying in the 3" circle completely removing the Red 1" bullseye.
What my point is this Primary Arms SLX Red Dot was hot, too hot to touch and stayed on Target.
I'm definitely ordering another one for my Zastava ZPAP M-70 Walnut Furniture, that has the side rail mount, to install my new Primary Arms
Primary Arms SLX MD-20 is another Great Choice, just my opinion.

Benefits of a Holosun, but at the proper T1 height

Overall great build quality, has the nice benefits of shake awake and long battery life. Glass tint was much more true to color with just a slight tint of blue/green (better than my older romeo5 or older PA sights that have a much bluer hue or my HE-403B that has a dark purple hue). Best part of all is it sits at the proper sight line as a T1, so 1.93 and 2.12 mounts are actually at the right height.

Awesome little RD, great glass, holds zero, after years of use NO issues whatsoever . Mine is an early Gen 1 with well over 10K+ rnds thru it. Majority of that time was spent on my SGL31 but my son used it about a year on his AR10. I can’t recommend this little RD enough, it’s without a doubt the best RD I’ve had

This little optic is about the same as my aimpoint t2. I've dropped it multiple times and it still rock n rolls. I have 2 total and can't find anything bad about them. Love these little 20mm.

In hand this a solidly built svelte optic...very compact. Great clarity with no distortion, crisp dot , Shake-wake and the push button adjustments make the body of this red-dot practically invisble. Standing up great mounted on a Berreta 1301 tactical. Highly recommended if a functional durable red dot is what youre after without having to sell sperm and blood
Great, well featured red dot sight

Reasonably priced red dot with appreciated features including: shake awake battery saver; clear glass with visible red dot; easy to reach and manipulate controls; small form factor and weight.
The only reason I gave it four stars was the lack of elevation and windage adjustment markings on the unit. You should not have to take off the turret caps and then look inside them to find adjustment arrows. This should be on the sight housing - heaven forbid you lose the turrets caps.
Great for the price, and even more than twice the price.

I have a couple of "work" guns that have the very big name sights on them. My goto gun has the aimpoint micro t2. I have a few other weapons that are personally owned that I wanted to put red dots on. So I purchased this sight, similar to the Aimpoint and a Holsun. I am happy to say that I will be purchasing additional Primary Arms SLX sights because of the quality vs cost point. Even with the cost point not being a factor, I am not sure I could justify the $900 plus price point after using both of them extensively now. Since I have 4 carbines that I want red dots on I am absolutely purchasing these!! They have a lifetime warranty, hopefully I never need it. I have Sig sauer and Vortex optics on other weapons. I would definately look into other Primary Arms products if they are of equal quality.
