The Primary Arms Weapon Light Small Tape Switch is a reinforced tape switch that adds accessibility to your flashlight while shooting. It has a textured pressure pad and an 8-inch cable. The finish is durable, with a flat black switch and cable and flat dark earth flashlight end cap. This is the tape switch only, flashlight not included. Fits product codes PAWL-3BKGENII and PAWL-3FDEGENII. Will fit and function with new Compact Weapon Lights PAWL-3BKGENIV and PAWL-3FDEGENIV, but the flat dark earth anodizing will not color match. Features a 1-year warranty.

As advertised. I like the fact it is not too sensitive. You can feel the micro switch engage. I like it.

Fit and function are excellent.

Fit and function are excellent. Machining of parts allows perfect tight fit. Rubber switch coating appears heavy and will last a long time without cracking. I should have bought it at the same time I bought the light :-)

Switch is Momentary only!!

Nice switch, however be aware that this tape switch is Momentary ONLY! I ended up returning it because I want the functionality of turning the light on without holding the switch the whole time.

Almost, but not quite...

It is a "eh" quality switch... It is only "Momentary On", there is no "Stay On" feature (probably a function of the weapon light though). The pad is small and has a weak rubbery feel (time will tell how it holds up) and while it has a nice click sound when activating, it just does not feel right. The switch does not come with any attach features. My Streamlight switch (which came with my Protac Rail Mount HL-X for the same price as the PA weapon light only) is much better - Momentary On, Stay On and Strobe features, tougher feeling rubber pad, and it came with zip ties and tape to attach to my rifle. Sorry for the tough review, but this PA product just does not meet muster, especially given the price :(
