The Strike Industries Enhanced Ultimate Dust Cover is the world's first quick disconnect ejection port cover for the AR-15! Manufactured from high-density Nylon polymer, the UDC will never corrode, rust, fade, or deform. It features an internal True Seal lip to better protect your rifle from the elements. A built-in adjustable detent screw allows you to easily compensate for receiver wear, or increase/decrease opening power.
The spring-loaded internal detent rod provides easy installation and take down, often taking just 5-10 seconds! This enhanced version is thinner, allowing greater compatibility with nearly any AR-15 upper receiver, including billet uppers, on the market as well as reducing the weight to a minimal 0.3 oz! The new design also features a cut-out window for easy installation or removal, all without impacting the True-Seal capabilities!

A dust cover that doesn't look like crap.

I hate spending $3000+ on a custom AR just to have to look at that marred up ejection port cover. I had originally tried the FabDefense door but it would pop open for no reason - TRASH. I've had good luck with SI products so I gave this one a try. It fit my BCM upper perfectly with no fitment issues, looks great, functions great, and no longer gives me that metal on metal "clank" when charging my weapon. I will be buying more.

This Mod really has been long overdue. After all the effort of a billet lower build, the one sore spot was the dust cover. Is it necessary? No. But it's well made and a cinch to install and offers an adjustment for the detent for a perfect fit!
