Strike Ind. Extended charging handle latch

I bought this extended latch to install on my scoped AR, because the scope made grasping the standard charging handle latch less convenient than I liked. The installation was a pain- holding the spring loaded latch in place while trying to hammer in the roll pin was extremely tricky. Strongly recommend using a clamp to hold the charging handle (which I don't have). Once in though, it works just fine. Be aware though that having an extended latch does NOT make your charging handle into a BCM Gunfighter (should be obvious!). Those are better in every way, but at only $9, I'll live with this.

Major improvement over the factory latch, feels good, and no problems after hundreds of rounds through 2 different rifles. Makes racking the gun much simpler with one finger. Bit of a pain to install with my big, clumsy fingers with no feeling though.
