The Strike Industries Oppressor is the latest evolution in concussion reduction. Standard designs simply sleeve the brake, with an open end to redirect gasses. While this does accomplish reducing side concussion, braking performance suffers.
Designed with computer aided flow dynamics, the SI Oppressor provides a solution for redirecting the overpressure produced by aggressive brakes and compensators. Advanced internal geometry actively draws the gasses out and thrusts them forward through vents, serving as a linear brake.
Using a proprietary quick detach mounting system, the Oppressor can be easily installed before transitioning to prone shooting positions, or for indoor use.
NOTE: Compatible with SI Venom, Checkmate, King Comp, Mini King Comp, J-Comp Gen2, Sierra Comp, Triple Crown, and the Ferfrans Muzzle Brake.

Great for certain applications.

So here's the deal. I ordered this for my 10.5 "pistol" for use with the Strike four prong flash hider. The flash hider iitself s AMAZING. Pros: Some of the blast from the shorty carbine IS thrown forward. The price wasn't too expensive for a well built piece of kit. It looks pretty badass. Cons: About completely negates the flash hiders function in our experience. The 10.5 is still loud as all get out. Biggest pro: Worked super well on my buddies rifle that has the Strike muzzle break. I'd say get this if you have the muzzle break and don't want your friends on the line to hate you. I'd say avoid if you are running a flash hider.

Works great for intended purpose. It directs muzzle blast forward. I have this on my 458 socom, and it runs like a champ.
Great blast shield works with multiple devices

Good blast shield use it on my full size Draco pistol and definitely sends the fireball blast forward that comes from the Jcomp muzzle brake on a shorter barreled AK. I also throw it on my 16” barrel AR with king comp works great I tried it out at an indoor range for sure helps sideblast. Only pain in the butt part is taking it off the Draco sometimes it will hit the muzzle device detent while trying to unlock it but that’s it. And it looks badass. Bought it on sale here at PA and they go fast.
So far the best blast deflection device I have ever used.

Fits and works great on both my .308 and +
6.5 Grendel pistols. It works well with both the JComp 2 and King comp muzzle breaks. Better the Ferfrans CRD that works only with my King comp.

Works perfect for shooting prone or indoors. I matched it to the SI king comp and it's been a perfect combo for both my 5.56 and my 300blk.
