The Shift Pin Set is a replacement for standard AR-15/M16/M4 takedown/pivot pins. Designed to allow the takedown pin to be installed or removed without taking apart the stock assembly. Simply rotate the pins for removal or installation. Combined with the included Enhanced Detent Pins, which are retained inside the pin springs, make assembly/disassembly a near-effortless task. An extended grip surface further assists in disassembly without the need for a pin punch. The Shift Pin Set is CNC machined from solid steel for strength, precision fit and corrosion resistance and fits most AR standard and billet receivers.
NOTE: May not fit some billet lower receivers.

Worth the $

They work just like regular takedown and pivot pins EXCEPT they're stupid easy to install!! No more detents flying across the room. they also offer you the convenience of removing your takedown pin without having to remove your buffer tube and backplate.
Look great and make install a breeze!

Strike innovates again, making these super easy to install and remove, without the springs and detents going flying, or having to partially disassemble the lower in the process. They look sharp as well!
Very difficult to push.

Very easy to install and that's about it! These pins are without a doubt the hardest to push in or out. The pivot pin was so hard to push in I had to tap it with a hammer to remove it and to get it started back into position. I'm removing them and replacing with B.A.D pins like the rest of my rifles. These were installed on a Spike's lower and upper. Maybe they work better on others. I usually like Strike products but these are no good.

I actually didn't think the pivot pin installation was super difficult to begin with but this certainly makes the process much easier and they are very aesthetically pleasing as well. The quality of the machining is top-notch as usual with strike industries.
