Sylvan Arms has really brought out a great tool for your AR's.<br>Easy to install. Made my 5 1/2" 9mm even smaller, I carry it in my laptop bag.

Easy to Install, Lightweight, Very Happy WIth This Product

by -

This unit was really easy to install, I didn't have to take it apart so it was on in 10minutes with the help of the video. Its lighter than another brand that I have on my other gun, it is 7075 aluminum and can work with my 9mm BCG with the extra adapter piece.

better then expected

light weight, easy install still works after 1000s of rounds

Worked for Me

by -

We installed the folding adapter and added no lube. We flipped it open 1500 times like you would do a rod and reel as if casting for fish. Some where between 1500 and 1750 times It failed. I don't know about you but that is not how I would treat my folding stock adapter. That was just our test. Also, extremely easy to install. And fairly priced and available.

Fitting required

by -

I bought this from Primary Arms, and I’ve read the reviews from Amazon for the Gen 2. I bought this with little expectations to work. It’s not bad, but it did require some fitting when connecting the buffer tube to the folding adapter. I put about around 150 rounds with the adapter on and I haven’t ran into any problems yet. I would trust it.

Breaks

by

I had one of these. After 15 rounds the locking device broke. Definitely not high strength steel. I wound up buying a Law Tactical one and it is awesome.

Overpriced garbage

by

Poorly made garbage, couldn’t be more disappointed with this product unless they sent me a brass paperweight but I guess that would at least have a function. The aluminum is not high strength, the buffer spring keeper is aluminum and barely held the buffer back (popped out 10% of the time) and it had a loose fit and feel. The spring detent bearings wore grooves in the body of the device from opening and closing approx. ten times so I can’t imagine it would hold up over a hundred openings. Spent half the money I spent on the total build for useless crap, don’t buy!!!!!
