Note: For AKs that originally used gas tubes that do not have holes in them, such as the Romanian WASR-10. Will be slightly shorter than original gas tube, this is normal and will not effect function.
Fits:
- AK Variants with standard weight barrel and standard removable gas tube (roughly 7" in length, will vary slightly between rifles).
- With separate barrel shims, will fit 5.45x39 and 5.56 NATO caliber AKs. Minor fitment may be required.

This heavy duty mount replaces the original steel gas tube and upper handguard, so it adds less than one ounce to the weight of the rifle, making it by far the lightest optic mount installation for the Kalashnikov. The forward positioning of the optic gives you faster, easier and more natural targeting while maintaining your full field of view. Multiple target or moving target engagements, with both eyes open, become second nature. The UltiMAK AK optic mount rarely if ever needs to be removed to clean the rifle, so you need not worry about loss of zero. Since the mount is clamped to the barrel and not jammed in between the gas block and the sight block like the original gas tube, several UltiMAK users have reported an improvement in their AK's accuracy.

Everyone complained about co-witnessing an EOTech and such and the heat with this product... I love it, truly so. Amazing fit and finish and went right on with the UltimaK tri-rail. I have a 512 on it and it has worked perfectly from day one barely requiring any adjustment and has held zero through multiple bumps and whacks.Some people are concerned about barrel harmonics with this but honestly, of your trying to sharp shoot with an AK... Didn't effect my gun at all. Very happy with this product!Awesome product and lowest price found, will do business with these guys again happily.

Excellent option for mounting optics on AKM type rifles. Definitely allows for 1/3 co-witnessing for the Bushnell TRS-25.

havnt liked running a quad rail on my romanian ak74 so I thought I give in to the hype and try the ultimak. Paired it with my primary arms fixed base micro dot works great. Mounts super low, absolute co-witness. ultimak website said I was gonna need the shim set for my romanian 74 I did not. Barrel is tapered and where its mounts the barrel is large enough to mount without needing the shims.

I had conerns about this rail because this was my first AK. After fitting this with my Primary arms advanced red dot I am happier than a pig in $h!t. rail is amazing and will be ordering more primary arms advanced red dots for my other rifles.

Good looking mount

I never really liked the way the side mounts on AKs looked, so I searched for another option. The Ultimaks looked good and from what I gathered were decent mounts. Cowitness is no problem with a Bushnell TRS25. It wasn't too bad to install, didn't have to do any fitting on my WASR-10. I've taken it out to the range once and put just under 100 rounds through it. Half of those in a couple minutes and it didn't get as hot as I thought it would. If you do a couple mag dumps in a short period of time the mount might get pretty hot. Another thing is that it really doesn't add hardly any weight to the gun as advertised, which is always a plus.
Ultimak Fits Arsenal SGL 21 Well

I put one of these on a Draco pistol and it worked pretty well. Gives you a nice ridged rail on an AK.I liked it on the DRACO so I put one on my Arsenal SGL 21. Popped a Bushnell TRS-25 on the rail and ....BOOM, solid red-dot optic and mount. No weight gain. Good product.. Oh, slight complaint, Ultimak always makes the system a little short. Why not make it a little longer and design it so it can be modified by the installer for a tighter fit?
