Use Vortex Optics Hunter 1-Inch Rings for mounting your riflescope to a Picatinny or Weaver type rail. The standard, 2-screw Hunter rings are a nice match for general hunting setups. Crafted from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum for optimum strength.
This set of rings positions the center of the riflescope tube at a height of 1.22 inches (31.0 mm) from the base.

Not quite high enough

I purchased these scope rings for my newest AR build. I have a 6x24 scope with a 50 mm objective lens. I thought that these were high enough to clear the rail, they were unfortunately 5 mm too low. I ended up using them for a bolt action rifle that I had a scope for but no rings. They fit perfectly on my bolt action rifle and have survived 3 slides down the side of a fairly steep cliff.
