The flattest I could find, but...
Matthew W. from TX wrote on August 10, 2015:

This is the flattest BUIS I could find. However, when its laying flat, one of the two peeps is sticking up because there is no clearance with the peep that is down on the upper receiver. Its still pretty damn low, but just be aware, be careful how/where you mount this.

YHM, YMMV...

Bought this because it was on sale. Deployment button is VERY stiff and occasionally 'catches' and won't depress all the way. Other than that it's well made, sturdy and NOT plastic.

Its OK

Fold-down mechanism is a little wonky

Not ideal
Barry from TX wrote on August 10, 2015:

The machining and quality of this rear sight is good. However the only way for it to lay down on the rifle is with the large hole oriented. If the small hole is deployed, you cannot lay the sight down as the large hole is hitting the top rail. Also the button press to deploy the optic is very rigid and cannot be done quickly. Would not recommend.

Rear Flip Sight

A little gritty at first to open & close. Took oil & time but then it was fine. At list price which I did not pay I would buy a troy unit.

Excellent Product

The YHM 5010 sight is well constructed and primary Arms had it a great price and shipped it out fast and inexpensively. The sight works well. Extremely happy with this purchase.

Great Rear Backup Sight

I really like the dual peep option. Only wish when in the down position it didn't barely touch my awesome Primary Arms 1-6X ACSS scope, but it works out great. No issues having both mounted. Another great product from YHM.

great!

Took a little oil and working it in...but works perfectly now!

Great product from Yankee Hill. Sight functions as it should, flips up quickly and folds down low. Solid Construction and as as always Primary Arms got my order shipped out fast.

Awesome BUIS

Great value. Sight is well built and sits low when folded down.

Yankee Hill Machine Q.D.S Rear Flip-Up Sight
N/A from N/A wrote on August 10, 2015:

Bought this sight when it was on sale. Just like other people say the deployment button is stiff and occasionally is hard to depress all the way. Some oil helped. But it looks well built and strong. Have not used it yet.

YHM BUIS
N/A from N/A wrote on August 10, 2015:

Pretty good BUIS overall. It fit great and is very sturdy, but needed a little oil/lube to operate smoothly. The only I dont like (and Im being picky) is that the small aperature does not fold down flush with the base, it sticks up a little bit when the sight is folded down. It has no effect on the operation, just the aesthetics.

The only flip sights I run on all my rifles. Can't beat primary arms service and shipping times. Always 3-4 days from ordered to delivered.

Great!

Perfect Sight!
N/A from N/A wrote on August 10, 2015:

The YHM flip sight perfectly matches the front one I already had. It is built very sturdy, and mounts securely. It flips up and locks in place reliably. I would definitely recommend this as a back up sight on any rifle.

Really nice BUIS, $20 cheaper than others
N/A from N/A wrote on August 10, 2015:

I really like the quality of this sight, very durable and easy to install. The color matches my PSA rifle perfect. I like the dual peep, the other peep hole will stick out a little out of the top when the sight is laying flat, but the sight still lays as flat as any flip up BUIS I've used. You can buy a single peep, or a different brand, but for $79.95 nothing could beat the quality and price. Primary arms had the package in the mail as soon as I ordered and only took a few days to show up! Thumbs up all around great experience!

Quality rear sight
N/A from N/A wrote on August 10, 2015:

Very high, U.S. quality...other reviews were helpful in reminding that flip-style dual aperture results in unused aperture protruding past sight body...
