Foxtrot Mike Products Complete FM9 Premium 9mm AR-15 Lower Receiver

I have built 2 of these. They work flawlessly. buffer weight and spring choice work perfect and lock back works every time. I have used glock, ETS and Magpul mags with no problems. This lower is a great starting point for your build. I emailed Foxtrot with a question and they answered in 3 hours on a weekend. They were very helpful.

The last round bolt hold open has been reliable so far with no complaints besides the amount of wiggle in the magazine well, nothing terrible. I would definitely recommend Foxtrot Mike to my peoples.

Very well built and awesome quality so far.
I did wait almost 6 weeks for it due to back order but it was worth the wait. The pistol grip is not Magpul but it’s just as good as any basic grip.
I really don’t have anything negative to say about this lower yet.
I had been waiting to buy a Palmetto State version of a 9mm AR but they are always out of stock and they have doubled their prices. PSA Price gouging galore.
I shot 400+ rounds through this lower using an old FM upper I borrowed from a friend. No stoppages, no problems. I used every Glock mag in my possession, Gen 2 and 3. I used 17 and 32 rounds capacity mags.
This FM version comes with a last round bolt hold open. The PSA version does not and is ridiculous overpriced.
I am glad that there is finally competition for PSA.

Purchased fm9 lower. Had issues feeding and mag was loose in magwell. Emailed FM support and they were great and responsive. Ended up sending the upper and lower back to fm (upper is not a FM product). Turn around was one day, they emailed me when they received it and after gunsmith fixed it anf attached video of it working. Ended up replacing the last round hold and mag release. They are top notch and great customer service. Never even asked for receipt. Will definitely purchase again and highly recommend. Thank you FM

Like it so far. 200 rds no hiccups other than with the Amend2 33rd mags. Paired it with the FM 3" upper and it's turned into a nice little cqc truck gun. Will most likey purchase FM products again.

I've built many 9mm's and either use the FTM lower or one I've milled. I do change out the spring and the buffer. I use a 5.56 high end spring and a dead blow buffer from Macon Armory, Macon Georgia. This eliminates bolt bounce and lighter on the bolt catch during LRBHO. For the price the Foxtrot Mike lower is the very best value for the money.

I told myself I didn't need an AR9 for over a year, I've got plenty of 9mm pistols so why an AR9? Finally bought this along with FM9 5" upper and don't regret it one bit! Bought and used 2ea of the Glock 33/rd and Magpul 27/rd mags and had no issues with either. Shot 124 gr ball, 124 gr HP and 147 gr HP from S&B, PMC and Sig, everything functioned perfectly including the LRHO feature. This is a ton of fun (more than I anticipated, lol) and my son and I went through 300 rds before we knew it. I changed out the safety with a 60 degree unit (came with plastic) along with a new trigger. Only slight issue was the mag release rubbed on the lower a little, but a light stoning took care of that while I was doing the initial once-over and lube (no big deal but that stuff bugs me). Fit between the upper and lower was perfect, no slop or wobble. Great pistol at a great price!

Overall I'm mostly very impressed. Quality compared to my PSA 9mm lower was impressive, that lower needed a bunch of fiddly fine tuning to get it ejecting and feeding. Last round bolt hold open works flawlessly. I combined this with a FM BCG and a PSA upper I already had and everything went perfect for a few rounds then the bolt got stuck partially back. As delivered the buffer detent pin was not properly nested in it's slot in the buffer tube and the BCG could move backwards but the pin turned sideways and the rear of the BCG hung up on the pin. Once I got the receivers separated (not easy) I had to screw in the buffer tube one full turn to correct this assembly error. This would be a show stopper for anyone that didn't have the tools to fix it.

This is a great complete lower. I have had no issues with it whatsoever. I did purchase the Foxtrot Mike 9mm upper for it. Great quality and finish. I recommend this over any conversion type devices. If you want a 9mm AR, buy this one. You won't be disappointed.
