Details
Designed specifically for use with the 30mm PLx scope mounts, this top-cap reflex mount allows you to easily mount your Primary Arms 24mm mini reflex sight at the 12 O’clock position above your scope for fast transitions from medium range to close quarters. When used on the 30mm PLx 1.5” mounts, it will place the base of your red dot sight at the 2.04” height allowing you to simply raise your head to use the sight. This red dot mount features a footprint for use with the Primary Arms Classic Series 24mm Mini Reflex Sight or any other Holosun 507c footprint optic. Machined from 7075 aluminum and made in America, this red dot mount is built to last without losing zero and comes with the Primary Arms Lifetime Warranty.
Features:
- 7075 Aluminum construction
- Black hardcoat anodized finish
- For use with 1.5” PLx 30mm scope mounts
- 2.04” height for the red dot sight at the base
- Popular Holosun 507c style footprint
- Made in America
- 16-18 in. lb. Recommended torque specs
- Primary Arms Lifetime Warranty
Another benefit of the piggyback style of offset red dot mount is the ability to still use your red dot no matter which side you are shouldering your rifle and in general gives you more ways to see your dot than compared to the more common style of offsetting your red dot to one side. Whichever way you decide to mount your backup or transitional red dot sight, you can’t go wrong with a Primary Arms PLx mounting solution.

Quite nice

It works good, mounted easily. Put the PA classic 24mm red dot on it and it is solid.
Great idea. Poor execution.

Listen guys, I love the idea. My problem is this. If you mount a Holosun 509 to this on a Trijicon Credo, the scope turret blocks 2/3 of the screen rendering your red dot useless. You need to make this thing taller or make it picatinny so it moves the dot up. My red dot needs to be up at least 0.4 inches to be useful. Thankfully I’ve got a Bridgeport and will sort it out. Most people won’t have that option and aren’t gonna be happy. I’m not even sure it would clear the turrets of a razor 1-6 and those are about as short as any scope on the market. As designed I don’t see how it has any use to be honest.
We were happy to speak to you about this issue and will get with our PAO engineers on this matter.
Needs to be higher

Very well made piece, but it is more of an idea taken from others rather than something they have tested in use themselves. I have a 509t and the glx 4-16 from primary arms turrets cover at least the bottom 1/3 of the lens, I would imagine this would be worse with most other red dots. Initially I was using an EPS I ordered recently, that was entirely covered up, entirely unusable.
Other than it being just about 1/2" too low to be useful for 90% of red dots, it's a very well made piece, no flaws in machining or coating, the screw inserts are a great touch, it just needs to be taller, at the very least tall enough to clear the turret for their own GLx line, which is pretty low profile.
Don't buy this until they can make it taller.
Great red dot riser cap

This works best with the PA Classic 24mm reflex sight. Mounts quickly and easily! Great accessory option in target transition for my AR!
Almost there

The mount isn't high enough to clear turrets. I called and discussed this with you and was advised to buy and bought the 10mm Reptilla riser and the red dot is still partially blocked. It's workable but barely. Absolutely love the SLX scope mount but would like to see a re-work of this top cap. Would also like to see options for other footprints.
