Smith & Wesson PC Equalizer Carry Comp Optic Ready 9mm Pistol - 3.675" - 1x 10rd, 1x 13rd, 1x 15rd Mags

The Smith & Wesson PC Equalizer Carry Comp delivers an easy-to-rack slide and a factory-tuned compensator for shooters who want a hybrid between a micro-compact and full-size 9mm. Built with a grip safety and hammer-fired action, this pistol delivers a uniquely accessible operating system alongside Performance Center-tuned recoil control.

Features:

• 3.675-inch barrel with an integrated, Performance Center-tuned compensator
• Internal hammer-fired action with an easy-to-rack slide
• Grip safety for an added layer of drop safety without a manual thumb safety
• Optics-ready slide compatible with popular red dot footprints
• Ships with 10, 13, and 15-round magazines, all interchangeable with the Shield Plus

The Equalizer's easy-rack slide design makes it noticeably easier to chamber a round than a traditional striker-fired pistol, a meaningful advantage for shooters with reduced hand strength or arthritis. Its internal hammer-fired action and grip safety give it handling characteristics closer to a 1911 than a typical polymer striker gun, while still cycling from the same 10, 13, and 15-round magazines used across Smith & Wesson's Shield Plus lineup.

The Carry Comp variant adds Performance Center tuning in the form of a built-in compensator, reducing muzzle flip during rapid strings of fire without adding a separate threaded device to the muzzle. Combined with the optics-ready slide, this configuration gives shooters red dot compatibility and recoil control in a pistol that already stands apart for its accessible slide manipulation.

Smith & Wesson has manufactured firearms in the United States since 1852, and its M&P and revolver lines carry that manufacturing heritage into modern carry, duty, and field applications.
