Great finish but wished it matched the billet lower better


Great finish and very light weight, and it all measures to spec.
<br>I’m removing a star because the rear of the upper is milled in angles, and the 17 D billet lower is milled round where the upper and lower meet right over the takedown pin. You’d think that a milled billet upper and lower set would take this into account. Won’t affect function, but if strictly wanted function I’d buy an Anderson set. They should improve this for aesthetic purposes.

Picked this up to match their billet lower that I was gonna get eventually, this upper is machined very well, looks great and fit up pretty well on a milspec lower
<br>Couple hold backs though:
<br>didn't fit up with a LaRue LAT handguard because of the handguards anti-rotation device (might affect other handguards with similar sized anti rotation mechanisms)
<br>didn't work well with a strike industries polymer dust cover
<br>picatinny rail seemed a tad wide? the fixed DD sights I have were extremely tight to get on
