I bought two of these and recently built them out. Zero issues with anything. I've built six or seven billet lowers from Mega and Seekins and didn't notice a difference with the 17 Designs compared to them. 5 out of 5.

Couldn’t of asked for a more seamless fit. 10/10 on everything possible.

I am very pleased with my Lower Receiver and excited to start and finish my first build. I gave the product 5 stars but my only is with regards to the Threaded bolt catch roll pin. My fault, I forgot it was threaded and struggled to remove. It would have been nice if the product came with "instructions" warning that the roll pin is not the conventional roll pin. Also, I managed to remove the threaded roll pin but could not find the correct tool to remove with the exception on a needle nose to grab the pin from within. Once the bolt catch is in place, you cannot use the needle nose. I was able to thread this back in and then a micro-screwdriver was able grab it enough to thread it the rest of the way in. I still don't know what the correct tool would be to remove or re-install. Otherwise, I am happy with the Lower Receiver.

So, it kind of appears that 17 Design Contracted Critical Capabilities to produce Billet Lowers. These are almost identical to New Frontier Armory or Joe Bob's Spartans, bothe, Critical Capabilities. Dimensionally perfect at a very reasonable price. In case you familiar with most Billets these use a long shank 6/32 hex socket screw for the Bolt Latch pivot instead of the traditional Spring Pin ("roll-pin"). However, unlike most Billets, these are not tapped for a 6/32 hex socket screw for retain the Safety Selector detent and spring. Easy enough to do yourself.

This is a very nice lower at a very good price! Finish and machining are excellent and everything installed without a hitch. I love how quickly PA processes and ships orders!

A very nice looking product that works perfectly with the BCM upper I purchased it for. The threaded in pin for the bolt catch is a nice touch. The gap where the bolt catch installs is not. It is too wide and this creates a lot of room for the bolt catch to wiggle. I don’t think it will affect function but it just isn’t what you expect to get when you order. If it weren’t for that one detail, I would have given it a 5* review and ordered a couple more. But as it stands, this is a 3* item. I am somewhat disappointed in this purchase.
