Outstanding
by Dave -
Outstanding finish perfectly drilled for all of your pins and the bolt catch pin was super easy to install with the right hex wrench
Very nice lower

Used with BCA upper no gap between upper and lower made a nice build
Disappointed
by Rusty -
I must have gotten a bad one. The magazine well dims were off and I had to remove quite a bit of metal before a magazine would go in much less drop free. All of the other dims seem to be correct. Safety, trigger and bolt release function fine. Metal finish could have been more consistent. The standard 17 Design lower that I have is a better product.

Nicely made lower with good fit on my Bear Creek Arsenal upper. Easy peezy install with similar build style as Aero Percision at a lower cost. Don't hesitate to buy this lower when it is on sale...
So far, so good!

After reading mostly good reviews with a few negative reviews complaining about the bolt catch being out of spec I took a chance on this lower. The price is simply unbeatable, especially for a billet lower. I had 2 LPKs (PSA and Aero). I went with the PSA to start with and If I experienced any issues I'd try the Aero. I can honestly say the PSA lpk worked fine. It's coupled with a PSA upper and functions flawlessly. I didn't even have to adjust the tension screw. I feel like the bolt catch issues could be attributed to using the wrong size Allen wrench. It uses a 1/16 wrench. Anything smaller and you won't be able get the proper torque. I also used the smallest amount of BLUE loctite on the threads for the bolt catch pin. All in all, im happy with my purchase. PA did a great job as usual. I didn't even have to contact my FFL because they do so much business with them. Thanks PA.
excellent lower - highly recommend

First lower build for me. Used a CMMG milspec lpk. Was done in about 20 minutes. Everything went together as it should. Ran a few hundred rounds with 7.62x39 upper, zero problems. Mag fit was tight but not problematic. Experienced that with all other lowers when using proper magazines for this round. What more could you ask for and for a low price. Will buy more.
Great other than the finish
by Pete
Well made however the finish is off. Won’t match your common upper. For example I paired it with a Anderson upper and the match is way off. Plan on having slightly mismatched or getting it cerakoted
Solid product

Got this for $70 to try it out and I am pleased. Mates up well with Aero, BCM and CMT uppers nicely. Fit with CMT is particularly snug and the lines of the upper and lower work pretty well with one another. The POF bolt catch, which I put on all of my ARs, works fine with this lower. The Strike industries ambidextrous mag release and the Knight's ambi mag release both work with this lower.... unfortunately the Troy industries ambi mag release does NOT.... there is not enough of the catch protruding into the Mag well to hook up with the magazine.
Hmmm, still working

The lower has a very unique feel to it, I like the milling it looks really good. Putting it together has been pretty easy right how my only issue is with magazines. They seem hard to get into the mag well… not sure if the flat paint is the reason or the Magpul magazines….
