2A Armament Titanium Regulated Bolt Carrier Group

The 2A Armament Titanium Regulated Bolt Carrier Group is an ultra lightweight option for those who are looking for a way to minimize the felt recoil and overall weight of their rifle, while optimizing for specific loads to enhance performance. This bolt has an infinite adjustment to help with barrel lengths, gas tube system lengths and suppressors. • 2A Armament recommends a slightly heavier buffer spring (ie Sprinco Red and a lighter weight buffer (mil-spec buffer with weights removed.)
• Does not support the use of forward assist. Not compatible with full auto systems. 
• This BCG has a minimal surface area that touches the interior of the upper receiver. 2A Armament cannot guarantee flawless fit and function in a 3rd party skeletonized upper receivers. Some upper receivers have binding and cycling related issues.

This carrier is a grade 5 6AL-4V titanium paired with a bolt made of 9310 steel that has been heat treated, cryo treated, metal peened and QPQ (quench polish quench) nitrided.  Because it's made from such exotic materials it requires multiple component parts in addition to what a standard bolt and carrier group would normally need. The rear body is made from 7075 T6 hard anodized aluminum and includes a machined extractor, carrier key and regulating gate and utilizes a T6 Torx for adjustment. The weight is 5.95oz fully assembled as a carrier group, which is more than 25 to 30% lighter than most standard bolt carrier groups.
