Bear Creek Arsenal 16" 7.62x39mm Heavy Contour 1:10 Carbine 416R Barrel - Stainless
This 16", 1:10 twist, heavy contour barrel is machined from 416R stainless steel, heat treated to RC 28-32 hardness, and properly stress relieved. Chambered for the inexpensive 7.62x39mm, BCA expects that it, along with any of their barrels 16" or longer, will hold a 1.000 MOA group at 100 yards when used with appropriate ammo and shooting techniques.
Gas Port: Carbine, 0.093"

As for right now I am only able to review the barrel on fit and finish. I will add the additional star when test fired. Stainless steel finish looks good, was covered in oil so it took a little elbow grease to remove it all. Gas port was perfectly lined up. This barrel DOES have a dimple to line up your gas block set screw, big plus. Threads were spot on, I had no issues adding my brake. Chamber looks great, no fitment issues with the BCG. Feed ramps on the barrel appear enlarged to accommodate the 7.62x39 round. Bear creek claimes MOA accuracy with their barrels, will put to the test soon with various ammo. Overall I’m happy, I just wish I fought this barrel on sale like some others did.
Worth every dollar spent.

I bought 3 of these barrels and I’ve shot all 3 of them. I’ve only got roughly 100 rounds through each barrel but they’ve been good. To go. I’ve got a dirty 50 yard group and can’t wait to take them out to 100 yards. I got these barrels on sale and they’re worth every penny. So far all of the rifles have functioned flawlessly.
Great barrel for great price!

Great barrel for an amazing price. I was able to get it during the flash sale . Overall I'm impressed, its 416R, machined well, rifling is good, it's dimpled, and it functions well. Shoots MOA with Hornady black and 1-1.5" with steel ammo. No jams or hangups either, 0 malfunctions. Would definitely buy another one if it went on sale again for another build!
I haven't completed the build so my rating is on the barrel look and finnish, but the barrel looks great! The rifling is sharp, the muzzle threads look good, the barrel has 1 dimple for a set screw gas block, and clean machining. I don't expect any problems. I'm overall pleased with it. Plus I got it on sale for $49 it's stainless! WOW! It was at my house in just a few days, Primary Arms definitely has a repeat customer!
