For those who want more from their lower, Aero offers the M4E1 and M5E1. The M4E1 boasts multiple improvements over traditional lowers, including a threaded bolt catch roll pin and takedown pin hole for easy installation, as well as an integrated and winterized trigger guard for enhanced strength. The magwell has also been given a more notable flare for faster, more confident magazine changes. The milled-in selector markings are also fully compatible with your favorite short throw safeties, as well as traditional MIL-SPEC options.
While some brands may treat MIL-SPEC as their standard, Aero goes beyond to build receivers with incredible strength, precision, and modularity. These one-piece enhanced billet upper receivers uniquely feature the handguard’s mounting surface as a solid part of the upper, rather than on a separate barrel nut for significantly increased strength over standard upper/handguard arrangements, as well as decreased deflection due to pressure. Free Float Handguards

They offer options that include the old workhorse M1913 Picatinny quad rails as well as the new industry standard KeyMod or M-LOK modular systems that allow you to save weight without sacrificing the accessories you want. Aero enhanced rails have an ergonomic 1.78” inside diameter, perfect for larger hands or for the integral look of a partially covered 1.5” suppressor. Gen 2 features include a new profile on the full length top rail, integrated QD sockets, and new milling patterns for enhanced grip and aesthetics. The Quantum series rails are designed to minimize bulk while offering remarkable flexibility with KeyMod or M-LOK slots available on 7 surfaces. For those who prefer a ‘less is more’ approach, Aero’s latest handguard is the ATLAS (Aero Taper Lock Attachment System). The ATLAS-S and ATLAS-R rails weigh in at as little as 4.76oz, but utilize a new mirrored ratcheting mounting system, providing even pressure on the mounting nut to prevent distortion or movement of the handguard. The narrower 1.5” external diameter is an excellent fit for most shooters, yet the design still allows for seamless mounting to Aero’s threaded M4E1 uppers, as well as any MIL-SPEC AR15 upper on the market.
