Rough around the edges

by -

Anderson barrel, Anderson gas block. Upper amd bolt. Do not beleive to be Anderson. Currently owning 5 different Anderon ARs, every single of my uppers have a Cerro Forge keyhole marking. This has a Square, which is a Brass Aluminum marking. Have not seen that before from Anderson. Not a big deal. And upper is an upper. Now, the BCG. WTF?
This is the roughest cut bolt I have ever seen. And the finish is crap. Looks like a blemished bolt. And talk about tight. After taking out the firing pin to disassemble, I literally had to pull the thing apart. Took the upper to my local FFL, who I typically get my Anderson parts from and has not seen one this rough either. Being he is a friend of mine, he swapped the bolt out for a new Anderson free of charge. I like this guy :-)
Did it function? Sure does. 1.3" groups at 100 yards at the range with Fiocchi 125GR SST ammo. This is my go to 300 Blackout hunting round.
