Failed after 25 rounds June 20, 2014
Reviewer: Fred Fournier from Houston, TX United States
This is the second and LAST supposed "high end" Chinese made scope I will ever buy. Both have failed on me the first time out. Outwardly everything looked great with this, and the other scope. Don't let that fool you. The optics looked good. At 6x the image was clear and sharp. FOV was more than acceptable, as was the eye relief. My only initial concern was I felt the turrets turned a bit to easy, but the clicks seemed precise. Well today (6/19/14) was the first chance to test it out. After 5 or 6 rounds I had it sighted in at 50 yards. Shot a few more to be sure, then moved to 100 yards. Thing were going well until they weren't. All of a sudden the reticle rotated to the left about 30 degrees. Zero went to hell and I couldn't even hit paper. If I had spent $50.00 for this scope I would say, "You get what you pay for" But for $250.00 I expect and demand MUCH better than this. There will be no third strike for me with Chinese made junk scopes. Junk is junk, no matter what the price.

From Primary Arms: We have found an issue with some of these scopes.  If you run into this problem please contact us right away and we will take care of you.

Fragile! June 12, 2014
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from PA
After the first day of sighting in I noticed imperfections in the glass. 150 rounds later the same inner lens flipped upward inside the scope. If it didn't break, the scope itself was awesome. Very clear! But to only last 200 shots and have a catastrophic failure is ridiculous. What sucks more is I want to give it another shot, but I could be waiting months for a replacement! I think I'll be giving the leatherwood hi lux cmr a shot instead. Sorry PA but I have to be honest about your product and my experience with it. Maybe I got a lemon? To be fair, they're refunding my money with out any run around and their customer service is excellent! I will continue to do business with PA.

From PA: We have had a higher than expected failure rate on this optic and have taken them off the market until we can resolve the issue.  Although the majority of the scopes have been fine, please let us know if you have a problem.

The ACSS reticle is GENIUS May 23, 2014
Reviewer: John Papadopoulos from Garland, TX United States
I am somewhat new to scopes, I've always used red dots but I wanted a scope for my 7.62x39 ar so I could shoot to medium range. I haven't mounted or shot with the scope yet, but I must say fit and finish is great. Glass is crystal clear, focus is great. Seems like 1x is truly 1x for both-eyes-open CQB. Magnification knob is nice to use, turrets seem nice. I wish the adjustments were 1/4 MOA per click, but 1/2 MOA should be alright. Turret covers seem water-resistant. Illumination is very nice, although I'll probably mostly shoot with no illumination as the laser etched reticle is visible against most backgrounds. I like that the illumination knob has an "off" selection in between each brightness level. All in all I'm very excited to put this scope through the paces, mistly on some Texas hogs! Dimitri from PA really thought out this reticle well and kept it simple yet very versitile and effective. If you missed out this time, you better grab yours quick next time!

Buy this scope! May 2, 2014
Reviewer: Stan P. from Carlisle , PA United States
For background: I am an avid AK shooter and a big fan of the 7.62x39 round. I have shot well over 10,000 of those rounds through various rifles in the past 5 years. But, I have never shot as well as I did today!

Upon arrival, I mounted it on my Scout rifle (Note: this scope was not designed to be mounted on a scout rifle). After 8 rounds of sighting the rifle in, I was within a few inched of the bulls-eye and had a group of three rounds with only two holes. I had to double check, but sure enough, all three went in the two holes. I adjusted it a couple of clicks up, and repeated the same thing again. And again, and again… I stopped taking pictures after the third group. I then went to the 100 & 200 yard range and shot at (empty) shotgun shells, which were no match for the scope!

Hands down this is the best scope for the round I have come across, and the price is far less than you would expect to pay for something of this quality.  Bottom line, I highly recommend this scope
