Keep your AR slim with a low profile gas block design that slips right under slim handguards and weighs only 1.4 oz. Fifteen gas settings are easily dialed in with with an audible "click" using a stainless steel gas adjustment screw. The package includes a 6-inch long 3/32" adjustment wrench.
Reliability is job number one. Aero helps prevent carbon locking by sending fouling to a dedicated, sacrificial chamber. You can put solvent in the chamber if locking ever occurs.
Durability is important with the pressures a gas block is expected to contain. Aero's is machined from 4140 steel, the same steel used in barrels, bolts and other high stress items. This gas block is nitrided for a long-lasting, heavy-duty finish.

Detent is nice, easy adjustment

Got this adjustable gas block since it was more affordable than other brands and I wanted to try something from Aero Precision. Easy to adjust, not sure how effective tuning the gas on my Ballistic Advantage barrel on my Andro ar did anything as I can't tell the difference in recoil compared to my buddy's stock Andro ar with regular gas block. So many factors when it comes to tuning a rifle for lower recoil including gas port size, gas tube length, buffer system, etc

Yes the rifle speed would be easier to use but this one from Aero is just superb. The clicks are audible and fit very tight around the barrel. And would be at least possible to service if someone needs to after thousands of rounds while it’s on the gun but having a detent and ONE adjustment screw is just a much more durable design. Best adjustable gas block I have ever owned.

Aero knocked it out of the park with this. Single adjustment screw is a superior design. IMO it beats the the rest of the options because of the 4140, price, and the ease of keeping up with carbon build up. Was a good tight fit around the barrel and comes with the good set screws. Really excellent offer from Aero and it absolutely works about as good as you can get while still having to rely on a hex tool
