Aero Precision’s S-ONE line of handguards have been designed with size and weight savings in mind, delivering the perfect handguard for your lightweight build. The Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS) is a durable and dependable mounting platform, maintaining a slim profile while providing strength and stability. It features two mirrored, tapered, locking nuts that provide evenly distributed clamping pressure across a custom engineered barrel nut using a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent further secures the design while providing positive registration during installation. By design, the even pressure of the ATLAS system avoids distortion of the handguard commonly seen using other mounting systems.

NOTE: ATLAS S-ONE Handguards are not compatible with the Aero Precision M4E1 Enhanced Upper Receiver.

Looks great with M4E1 threaded upper and M4E1 lower

Purchased this to match a 7.69x39 build that was done using Aero M4E1 upper and lower in factory FDE. The FDE color matched perfect and looks great to me with black accent small parts. I had no problem getting the barrel nut timed. The tapered locking system was easy to install and works great to keep the handguard completely secure. If you are unsure of the process, Aero has a great install video on their website that demonstrates how to do both.
If there was one area that I would improve it would be to slightly reengineer the barrel nut to eliminate the need to time it, but it's a minor detail and not worth deducting from the overall rating.
Overall I am very impressed with the Aero Atlas S-One. I would not hesitate to use the same products again on my next build.

My favorite handguard.

It’s not my first Aero handguard, but is my favorite. I mounted this one on a BCM upper build, with no issues. It’s solid, looks good and feels good.
