Enhance your new build with the Aero Precision EPC-9 Complete Upper Receiver with LRBHO. This EPC-9 receiver features custom machining from forged 7075-T6 aluminum with an anodized black finish for durability. The upper receiver features a last-round bolt hold-open mechanism, standard AR-15 takedown and pivot pin lug pattern, dimple above the receiver threads, and is compatible with most AR-15 compatible barrel nuts and handguards.

Note: The EPC last round bolt hold open is compatible ONLY with Glock pattern magazines.

If you want to build a lightweight AR-15 without sacrificing durability or functionality, the Atlas R-ONE handguard is one component you want to look at. It is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and features a proprietary attachment system that ensures your rail is locked down tight and will not rotate. ATLAS stands for Aero Taper Lock Attachment System, which features two mirrored and tapered locking nuts that evenly distribute clamping pressure on the custom machined barrel nut. The ratcheting detent system ensures that it stays locked down no matter what. This Aero Precision handguard has the same slim profile as the S-ONE series of free float handguards except that it has a full length picatinny top rail in case you need the extra rail space for optics or other attachments.

Under the handguard is a 8.3" 41V50 chrome moly vanadium steel barrel. Chambered for the incredibly common 9mm, the barrel features 1:10 twist rifling that will stabilize the full range of bullets available. The durable inky black salt bath nitride finish is exceptionally corrosion resistant and does not negatively impact accuracy the way old school hard chrome linings can. Threaded 1/2x28, the barrel is ready to accept your favorite muzzle brakes, compensators, or flash hiders, and even ships with the highly effective A2 style bird cage flash hider.
