Details

The Aero Precision M5 Stripped Lower Receiver has been machined to MIL-SPEC tolerances and finish ensure the highest quality receiver. For best results, complete this lower receiver using the Aero Precision M5 Lower Parts Kit (sold separately) It is specifically designed to work with the M5 Lower Receiver and includes custom takedown and pivot pins as well as an extended magazine catch button. The M5 grip tang has been machined for a nylon tipped upper tensioning screw. This screw allows any slack present when assembled with an upper receiver to be adjusted out for a tight fit.

Hess Upgrade

Lower was purchased to upgrade a Hess AR10 to allow for modern AR10 magazines, feed reliability, and ease of use. The lower fit very well to the Hess upper with only slight modifications to the upper to accommodate modern 308 magazines. Worked like a charm.

I have been wanting to start another project, time came when the lower was on sale, couldn't pass up the price, plus the great services from Primary arms. It was a win, win for me. Flawless lower as expected from these guys. I have purchased from them many times, they have my business as long as I can shoot a firearm. Thank you for your great services PA.

Almost the best I have seen

I gave it a 4 out 5 because the pivot pin plunger hole is IMHO out of spec by .030, even though Aero states that you have to use an Aero LPK to get a flush fit pivot pin. Finish was good, nice flair on the magwell and I liked the 60* markings, even though I use a 45* selector. Cons are you really need to use an AERO M5 upper or your build will look bad. I suggest using a standard CMMG LPK and buy the pivot pins and bolt release from Aero's site.

For the price this is a great lower and matches great with a aero precision upper. I build custom complete uppers and lowers and you can not ask for anything better.
