Upgrade your AR-15 with the Aero Precision Quantum M-LOK Handguard, designed for use with the M4E1 enhanced upper receiver. This lightweight handguard offers a minimalist design with M-LOK attachment points, providing versatility and adaptability for various accessories. Constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum, this handguard is lightweight yet durable. The hardcoat anodized black finish enhances its durability, making it resistant to harsh weather conditions and rugged use. The Quantum handguard features M-LOK attachment points on every flat, allowing for easy customization and attachment of rail sections, lights, grips, bipods, and more. The rigid M-LOK system ensures secure accessory mounting without the added weight of full-length rails.
The Quantum handguard comes with a 4-slot picatinny rail attachment for top muzzle-end installation of backup sights. However, certain sights like the Magpul MBUS may require slight modification for a proper fit. The necessary screws for installation are included. Built-in anti-rotation tabs, combined with the proprietary locking system on the M4E1 enhanced upper receiver, ensure a secure and stable fit. This prevents the handguard from loosening over time, maintaining its reliability during use. With a slightly larger 1.78" inside diameter, this handguard accommodates most 1.5" suppressors and muzzle devices. The 15" length fully covers rifle-length gas systems, providing a seamless and streamlined appearance.

This handguard looks great on my build. It works perfectly with the M4E1 upper receiver from Aero Precision. Primary Arms has a great price on this handguard. I was extremely happy to get such a deal on this piece.

This is a great handguard, only giving it four stars because there is room for improvement. I have a 15" one and love it.
Pros:
This is probably the most versatile handguard on the market. You can attach any M-Lok compatible accessory to all eight sides. It includes a Picatinny section you can screw into the top for a front sight post. Its very lightweight and simple. The price to value is excellent.
Cons:
The barrel nut only has 4 holes for the gas tube. This can be a pain when trying to get proper torque while also lining it up with the gas tube. It does come with shims, just be sure you can devote some time to getting it right. Second main issue: you must use thread lock if you want the eight screws to stay put. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't spend time at the range with this HG. I recommend the orange thread lock. Blue will melt off and red will force you to use a heat gun and still probably have to drill a few stubborn ones out if you ever need to get to the gas block.

Awesome handguard, bought a BAR nut for it and threw it on my M4E1 lower and it looks great. One of my favorite builds so far.

I chose the combination of the M4E1 Enhanced with this hand guard as a precision rifle build . This a very rigid setup with extra weight to balance allow for minimum recoil. This hand guard could stand to be a little longer for the +2 gas systems and heavier!! I’m truly loving it!!

Although Aero’s enhanced uppers/handguards are somewhat limited concerning use on different uppers it’s well worth it. I have several AR platform with the enhanced and love them. They sleek, and installation is so simple. No need to worry about pinching the gas tube or even needing to make sure it’s aligned as it just slips into position. Not to mention just a solid product!
