The Aero Precision Slick Side Stripped Upper Receiver is the perfect choice for a lightweight AR-15 build. Crafted from 7075-T6 aluminum forging and machined to MIL-SPEC, this upper receiver is then hardcoat anodized black for a sleek and durable finish. Compatible with all MIL-SPEC AR-15/M16 components, the Slick Side upper does not include an ejection port assembly, forward assist, or brass deflector. It does, however, feature M4 feed ramps and T-marked rail slots. With a weight of only 6.5 oz, you won't have to worry about your build being too heavy. Great Bargain!

Fit perfectly to my Smith and Wesson lower. Color matched, finish and machining were perfect. All my parts dropped right in. I am very pleased!
Slick side upper

Much lighter and more compact than the DPMS slick side plus the case deflector is useful. Very good fit on Aero and Spikes lowers.
Perfect for a light build

This upper is great for those that want to lose the weight of the forward assist, but still want a dust cover for those wet/dirty conditions.

If you are looking for a basic flat top upper without the forward assist then this is the one you want. As a left handed shooter I appreciate the full size brass deflector.

Bought for a LW build. Zero flaws in machining or finish. Fit pretty loose on my Anderson lower finish matches very well. Troy sight had to be filed a bit to slide onto the rail even then it took some encouragement not sure where the fault lies.

I have built several ARs using several different uppers but this is, by far, my favorite. Fit and finish are very good. All my future builds will carry this upper. I do check other websites, from time to time, but I always return to primary arms.
