Details
For almost forty years, Aker Leather has produced some of the best tactical carry equipment for the military and law enforcement agencies. This ballistic nylon Universal Radio Holder for Motorola's XTS3000 is a classic example of Aker's attention to detail and intimate knowledge of tactical duty requirements.
Features:
Made to fit on a utility belt up to 2.25 inches wide, this Universal Radio Holder is the same open style as other versatile radio holders made by Aker Leather. The main difference is that this particular Universal is made to hold Motorola's XTS3000 radio.
Like other radio holders in the Aker Leather line, This universal radio holder keeps the tactical radio in place through a snap-secured belt that fits snugly around the radio with a Velcro™ hook and loop closure.
Although a large bulk of the radio itself is exposed due to the holder's minimalist design, Aker Leather put a lot of foresight into protecting the radio during a mission. Once strapped in place, it stays in place until deployed.
While most of the exterior holder is excluded to minimize overall weight, a reinforced steel base and wide strap keep the radio securely in place. Additionally, the ballistic nylon build lessens the weight while providing durable wearability. Although this radio holder is rigid and not intended to rotate, the Aker Leather radio holder attaches to the wearer's utility belt securely yet still allows a comfortable carry.
Factor in that the weight of most tactical Motorola radios without a battery is almost nine ounces. When your utility belt is packed with other tools of the trade, the less weight your radio holder has, the better it is for you during extended moments in the field.
The Aker Universal Radio Holder for Motorola's XTS3000 features a open-face case in black and fits a belt up to 2.25 inches wide. Again, Aker Leather has simplified the field carry of a necessary communication device by a single holder and made it stylish and practical.
