Including many features of its predecessor, the Flatsider XR-12, Aker Leather offers several details that put the XR-13  in a class of its own.  The first noticeable change is the lack of a thumb break retention strap.  There is no need for one as this open-top model molds around the pistol so that 100% of the pocket forms a snug fit around the gun.

Also, Aker Leather includes a molded sight channel to ensure quick and easy deployment and reholstering. On the outside face of the XR-13, Aker provides an adjustable tension screw that helps form the holster's body to the weapon and serves double duty as a trigger guard stop.

Made with comfortability in mind, the XR-13 features curved belt slots that conform to the hip's natural shape and provide a more stable platform and enhanced concealment.  In addition, the dual-plane muzzle build promotes the use of both standard and shortened size barrels.

For those who prefer a strapless holster to ensure an unimpeded deployment of their pistol, the XR-13 is an excellent choice. There is no need to deactivate a thumb break retention as the body of the holster does all the work. When concealment is necessary, and deployment speed is essential, the XR-13 OWB holster is the one to buy.

Available in either tan or black, the Flatsider XR-13, like all holsters in the Aker Leather line, features premium, vegetable-tanned cowhide. Made in the USA at Aker's California plant, the XR-13 Flatsider easily fits belts up to 1 and 3/4 inches wide. This particular model comes in plain black, accommodates right-hand operation, and fits either a Glock model 19 or 23.
