The Aker Leather FlatSider™ XR17 Paddle Holster is the paddle holster version of the highly popular FlatSider™ XR12 OWB off-duty holster.

When perfect form, fit, and function are your priority, the Aker’s leather-molding process and the XR-17 deliver. Made from full-grain vegetable-tanned cowhide leather, the XR-17 is proudly manufactured in Chula Vista, California. 

Trusted by law-enforcement agencies worldwide, including the FBI and DHS/ICE, the XR-17 series is not limited to full-size service pistols. You can now carry your favorite Glock subcompact slimline pistol — e.g., the 9mm Glock 43 — in an XR-17. 

By using a paddle design, the XR-17 benefits from fast, easy attachment and removal — ideal for off-duty or plainclothes officers and private citizens alike. 

The Air-Flo™ Paddle features two retention barbs to keep your holster firmly in place, improving concealability. 

For increased security, the XR-17 features a thumb-break active-retention system with an adjustable tension screw that also sets the seating depth for the trigger guard.

The inside of the holster also has a molded channel for the pistol’s front sight and the dual-plane muzzle can accommodate both standard-length and short barrels. The XR-17 is compatible with belts up to 1 ¾” wide.
