The Anderson Manufacturing AM-15 Utility 5.56 Complete Upper Receiver Group is built from the factory ready to be installed on your lower receiver. This complete AR-15 upper features a 16" barrel made from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a durable Nitride finish and a mid-length gas system with a 1:7 twist rate. The upper receiver is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and hardcoat anodized black. The 15" free float handguard features M-LOK slots and an interrupted picatinny top rail to save weight. The bolt carrier is 8620 steel while the bolt is 9310 steel and Nitride finished for ease of maintenance. High Quality Solid Upper

Very solid High Quality Duty Complete upper. White glove QC did a great job. Excellent MLOK rails for attachments. Gas block and tube solid. BCG staking is top notch. Fit and Finish are Excellent. Thank you Primary Arms for making this product Available.
Inspect it before using it

If you buy this upper, be sure to go over the entire upper with a fine tooth comb. I took it apart for Cerecoat, and discovered that the gas block loose. The set screws were not tight. Also, the staking on the BCG gas key was very poor. Using my torque wrench, one of the gas key screws easily unscrewed from the key with only 20 inch lbs applied to break the torque, so it was not torqued and staked properly.
One of the Best Deals I've Had in a While

I ordered one of these simply to make a "blaster" rifle where I could shoot a bunch of old ammo and old reloads. Upon arrival, I was quite pleased with the fit and finish of the upper. Cerro forge marked upper, MPI marked bolt, gas key bolts staked nicely, upper rail to HG rail interface is perfect, just a fantastic upper for the price.
Have not been to the range as of yet, but I expect this upper to perform as good as it looks.
The only thing I don't like is it appears the BCG gas key is MIM. I have spares so if it craps the bed, no worries.
If not for already having multiple rifles, I'd certainly buy another one of these uppers... can't believe they are not already sold out.
