Note: This is a cosmetic BLEM lower receiver. It may have scratches or machine marks but has been inspected to ensure it will still function.
The Anderson Manufacturing AR-15 Stripped Lower Receiver is built to Mil-Spec out of forged 7075-T6 aluminum and precisely machined to ensure a tight fit of all your components. It is hardcoat anodized black but may have some machining marks or other scratches. Blemished lowers are an affordable way to get started on a new build and they make great platforms to practice your painting skills.

Anderson Lowers

I have purchased several items from PA and have been completely satisfied with each and every purchase. On these lowers, I failed to find any kind of a blemish that I would consider a flaw of any type. Keep up the good work PA! I will be back for future purchases.

I've purchased two Anderson Manufacturing stripped lowers from PA. Both arrived at my FFL within the time stated when I ordered. I had no trouble installing the lower parts kit and the quality from Anderson is great. Add to that free shipping it's a winner.
Anderson cosmetic blem lower receiver

I have never used one of blemished lowers before so I tried them ,they look great but other brands of upper receivers would not fit at the front push pull pin location so after trying several Anderson uppers I found ones that fit nice and snug and others did not fit so over all I think they are a good lower they just did not fit any upper.

Bought a few of these. I have assembled receivers from many brands. These work just fine and I have yet to find much of a blemish. 1 has some machine marks on one side of the bolt catch under the anodizing, very minor and cosmetic only. Others have heavier than normal machine marks inside the magwell but nothing noticeable from looking at the outside.
Great for truck guns, stash at the cabin or hunting rifle.
Anderson Stripped Lower Receiver - blemished

I ordered this lower on a Saturday, provided PA with my FFL provider info, PA already had them on file, the order was processed and shipped Tuesday (via USPS priority mail), and my FFL provider received the lower on Friday.
This was a blemished unit. I had a difficult time locating the flaw. I eventually determined a faint smudge that looked like an oily fingerprint of angles just right, must have been the blemish.

I placed my order on Saturday evening. I supplied my FFL Provider via email with a copy of their license. Monday, received an email from PA explaining they already had my FFL Provider's info on file and would ship my lower Tuesday. Shipping was extremely fast, using USPS priority mail, my receiver was in shop Friday afternoon. PA kept in touch advising progress of my order throughout. Excellent customer service.
I thoroughly examined the receiver and determined Anderson and PA have an exceptionally high level of quality control. The only thing I could find was a small discoloration in the coating that looked like an oily fingerprint. Just an oily spot? Wow, very satisfied with the entire order. Many thanks to PA for excellent customer service.
Definitely buying more

Had to look hard to find a blem. Only thing I noticed was a small raised line INSIDE the trigger guard area. That means nothing as you cant even see it assembled. Definitely going to buy more of these from Primary when I need them. Best price out there.
Best bang for the buck

The most affordable lower I have ever found, the free in store pickup was a big plus. These definitely are blemmed, I found out the hard way when inserting the parts for the bolt catch and getting them stuck. Turns out the inside was filled with burrs that I had to pick out only after hammering the lower with a mallet to get the components out first.
