Mil spec trigger group

To start, this product works; Fits fine and seems reliable through little testing. The three star rating was due to very poor casting and the fact that it was cast in the first place. The product is not as pictured with a nitride finish, but rather a silver-like coating except on the disconnect. If you need to save a buck this will work, but if you want a higher quality product that won't require tons of work to clean up look elsewhere.

Unexpected Condition

When I opened the plastic bag to install the fire control group, the trigger and hammer had no finish applied - no paint, bluing, anodizing, or other finish - "in the white" as they say. The parts appear to metal injection molded, are magnetic, but will not accept cold bluing. May be a magnetic stainless steel. I painted the trigger flat black, and while waiting for paint to dry, found a spare trigger and hammer in my junk drawer, so I installed the spares. Sear surfaces are typical mil-spec, with visible machining marks that can be honed smooth. Three stars due to either forgetting to apply finish to the parts or failing to indicate in the description that these parts are not finished .

Perfect kit for your rifle. Nothing fancy, just a reliable basic trigger. Would for sure buy another.

Easy to install works great on my new ar build. Note: previous reviewer is correct about finish. trigger is shown black in the picture but has no finish. still works like it should.
It is a solid kit

Used this on a build I helped a friend with and it is solid. Had to do a little polishing to get the fire selector to fit in place but it was very little. I plan to buy two for my personal use and two more to keep as spares in future.
