Well worth the $!!!

Buffer tube kit was excellent for the $$$. Already looking for the next build?

Inconsistent quality

by

The first of these kits that I purchased was of excellent quality. The tube was flawless with a great finish inside and out, the castle nut was phosphated, and the latch plate was the ambi sling compatible model. I like it so much I ordered two more kits. These kits came with the latch plate pictured (no problem, you should get what you order), shiny low quality castle nuts, and tubes with horrible finishes. Micro cracks all over the outside, only finished half way down the inside and inconsistent outside diameter with bulges and dips the length of the tubes.

Castle Nut issues

by

Most of the kit seems fine, however, the castle nut was not to spec. When snugging down, the castle nut only made contact to the end plat in one place, as if it was cut at an angle. There was a very visible 1/8" or so gap at the widest non-contact point. Used a spare castle nut I had laying around and it was fine. As another reviewer pointed out, the castle nut has a rich, high gloss finish. I'm sure PA will take care of me, but as for this product, well, I suppose you get what you pay for.

It's perfectly fine... it's just a milspec stock kit

by

Bought this as part of my first AR build. It's a stock kit. Parts were fine, price was great, and PA's shipping was fast.

Great for the $

by

Seems pretty well made installed without any issues. The inside of the tube has a bit of soft texture from when it was milled out or whatever (which I don't like as it makes a little more noise than others) and the finish on the buffer is not as great as some more expensive options but those are pretty minor issues. It functions perfectly and that's what really counts. If you're going for a budget build this will work great.

Fast shipping!

by

Can't beat that price. Not sure what happened with the last reviewer but received mine 4 business days after ordering that's good in my books. 7075 for 24 on sale can't beat that. My BCM kit was 3Xs the price!

Buffer tube starting to strip

by

For the price I wasn't expecting perfection but the buffer tube started to strip. You have to make damn sure you have everything in place and held tight when you start putting any torque on the castle nut. Mine is now on there good tight and straight! This kit isn't the best but not the worst I have seen.

Works great on my 300 Blackout SBR

I bought this a couple of weeks ago to complete my Spikes lower receiver. These are quality parts and the price was great. It functions perfectly love it. Thanks PA!

Junk x2 (7075 T6 My A$$)

by

I total agree with (Aubrey) as soon as i tighten the castle nut and with very little to no torque (hand tight) the buffer tube began to rotate with the castle nut upon removing the castle nut you could see that the end plate tab totally stripped out the threads to buffer tube making it useless will never buy anything with the name Anderson on it again......CHEAP JUNK
