The Apex Tactical Action Enhancement Trigger Kit for M&P handguns comes with a ton of improvements that you don’t want to miss out on. First, it features an aluminum pivoting trigger with a more common safety lever mechanism that provides reliable and consistent function with every trigger pull. A common complaint of the standard trigger is the lower half of the trigger must be pulled in order to activate the trigger and if your finger is slightly off, it can prevent activation. With this style of safety lever, activation is guaranteed with every trigger pull. Additionally, it reduces the overall travel—pre and over travel—for a faster trigger pull. This aluminum M&P trigger offers a 5-5.5 lb. trigger pull weight optimal for duty/carry use. No gunsmithing is required to install the Smith and Wesson M&P aluminum trigger and comes with all the necessary parts to improve your carry gun.

This kit requires the use of the larger 1/8 inch sear spring and plunger set up. If your M&P has a 1/16th inch diameter sear plunger and spring, it is strongly advised that you upgrade to a new style sear housing block before installing this product. All function and reliability testing was done with a 1/8 inch sear plunger and spring, therefore proper function without the appropriate size sear plunger and spring cannot be guaranteed.
