It also has a Mil-A-8625 type III hard coat for ultimate durability and resistance against corrosion. The 1.7” height is a new height in the current market, but it is growing in popularity. Arisaka Defense has discovered that the 1.7” height gives a great balance between heads up orientation and enough cheek weld for consistency and comfortability. Each mount has been made by computerized numerical control machines, giving you confidence in the consistency of the product.
